Join the Continuous Improvement Challenge

26.07.2012
The Long Carbon Europe segment launched the third edition of the Continuous Improvement Challenge, a programme that promotes local initiatives that improve plant results through continuous improvement methodologies.

In February of this year, Arnaud Poupart-Lafarge, CEO of LCE, stated in an interview published on ArcelorMittal's intranet: "Our organisation must be simple and must learn continuously. This requires everybody's energy and talent. Continuous Improvement and Project Management make up the key competencies that each professional in the business must have to ensure our competitiveness and operating excellence." In this way, the Continuous Improvement (CI) Challenge, launched in 2010, promotes bold projects undertaken by people on the plant staff and at the same time serves to share best practices at segment level.
