A South Korean delegation, including representatives from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, KNR (Korea National Railway), KORAIL (Korea Railroad Corporation) and KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute) has visited ArcelorMittal in Spain to explore potential collaborations in infrastructure and development, in the railway sector.

On May 12th, the South Korean delegation has visited and meet Arcelormittal Rails & Special sections in Madrid to meet potential suppliers for the upcoming Gyungbu HSR line rehabilitation project (approx. double track = 447.2km) and other upcoming projects.

ArcelorMittal Rails &Special sections present the group presence & activity, our rail production capability and product portfolio, examples of projects in EU & worldwide (focus on High-Speed), CO2 reduction targets & sustainability ongoing projects. It was followed by rail technical and R&D Rail Excellence centre presentations.
