From November 26th to 28th, ArcelorMittal Rails & Special Sections proudly participated in Rail Live 2025, the leading event that brings together rail industry leaders to shape the future of rail in Spain.
Hosted in Madrid, Rail Live is Spain’s premier international railway exhibition and conference. It gathers operators, infrastructure managers, rolling stock manufacturers, researchers, and suppliers committed to promoting rail transport for both passengers and goods. With more than 300 industry-leading companies and innovators showcasing cutting-edge products and solutions, Rail Live is the ideal platform to discover high-quality providers specializing in asset management, maintenance, infrastructure, engineering, telecoms, rolling stock, ticketing, IT, tools, and components.
Strengthening our presence in Spain and Europe
For ArcelorMittal Rails & Special Sections, Rail Live was an excellent opportunity to reinforce our brand in the Spanish market and present our comprehensive portfolio of rails for all railway applications. Visitors and customers who visited our stand explored our full range of rail products and engaged in discussions about the latest trends in the rail and steel industries.
Rail Live Fair in Madrid
Spanish Minister for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente visited ArcelorMittal booth to know first-hand the works of the LEAF project. As the first major decarbonisation project of its kind in Europe, LEAF Gijón sets a new benchmark for the future of steelmaking – safer, cleaner, smarter, and built for tomorrow’s railways.
Thought leadership at Rail Live
Our participation extended beyond the exhibition floor. ArcelorMittal contributed to the conference program with two panels:
- Wednesday, November 26th: “Our Path to Net-Zero: Urban Transport and the Transport of Passengers and Goods.”
- Thursday, November 27th: “Innovative Solutions for the Railway Market.”
These sessions highlighted our commitment to sustainability and innovation, showcasing how ArcelorMittal is driving progress toward a more efficient rail industry.
Also, ArcelorMittal took place in the Innovation tour and Talent tour for students, both organized by MAFEX.
